We work with wood than can be found locally such as ambrosia maple, walnut, cedar, hickory, ash, poplar, oak, cherry, beetle kill pine, alder, African mahogany, maple, curly maple, hard maple, ash hickory, hickory calico, fir, hemlock and aspen, and hard woods that we can order in such as red oak. Pricing varies depending on item, size and wood so please don't hesitate to contact us

Many of our items are hand-turned, hand polished and customized to work with the natural grain in the wood. We use multiple stains and finishes and have the ability to incorporate resin and stone into most items we make, which include but are not limited to, mugs, cups, salt and pepper grinders, tea sets, bowls, etc. all items are handmade, hand-turned in the USA.

Cutting Boards and Knives

We make cutting boards and or knives out of most materials, large, small, thick and thin, end grain or not, resin inlays, charcuterie, rough edge...if you don't see what you want, let us know what you're looking for.

Cups, Mugs and Tumblers

Our cups, mugs and tumblers are made from a variety of...nearly everything. We can use nearly every wood, fill in with resin, or use just resin with a variety of other things like pinecones, leaves, berries, etc. Why not.

Bowls, Tea Sets and Grinders

Our custom bowls, grinders, shakers and tea sets really are custom, as in, the size and design that comes from whatever stump or chunk of wood we can find, sometimes filled with colorful resin...sometimes not...each one is unique and truly qualifies as one-of-a-kind.

Custom Resin and Wood Turned Pens

We make our own custom resin molds in any multitude of colors, we can add steel, copper and brass shavings and/or flecks of colors, then hand-turn in many shapes and sizes to get a specialized, one-of-a-kind look. Our hand-turned wood pens come in a variety of woods from all over the world yet are handmade in the USA.

Intricate Pieces Within Reach

Hidden Cabin Treasures has made a couple of pieces that are unable to go onto our etsy page due to shipping costs being as much, or more than we want for the items so, we have decided to showcase those here with the idea that if anyone in or around, or traveling through Grand Junction, Colorado (Western Colorado) desires, they can choose to pickup an item, or we can arrange to deliver by hand what is chosen. Of course we will do this for anyone in the area who wants to pick up an often one-of-a-kind piece of Hidden Cabin Treasures...treasure. The item to the left is a handmade, cherry wood lantern holder that is 31 inches high and 25 inches wide. It has a wooden bar on the inside of the top pergola piece to hold most hangers (it can slide in and out) and therefore most lanterns. The lantern in the photo does not come with this holder, it is my favorite, and the holder design can sit easily on an end table or any place you want it for a beautiful, made in the USA, conversation starter.
